Meet the growing demand for skilled civil construction design professionals with AICT College’s RII60520 Advanced Diploma. This program has been carefully structured in line with the latest accreditation expectations set by Engineers Australia and is aligned with the Competency Standards for Engineering Associates. It is ideal for students aiming to pursue professional recognition in Australia and internationally.

Graduates will be equipped to support engineers in delivering major infrastructure projects. Students will develop proficiency in:

  • Creating detailed design plans using advanced CAD software
  • Applying geotechnical structure and urban road design techniques
  • Addressing real world technical challenges using industry tools and standards 
  • Leading project team and managing timelines

What Can I Expect

The qualification comprises a total of 12 units, including 5 core units and 7 carefully selected elective units.

Note: Elective units have been thoughtfully selected by AICT College, guided by our Industry Advisory Panel, to align with current industry demands and support the Engineering Associate competency framework established by Engineers Australia.

What are the entry requirements?

Age – 18+

English – IELTS 6 or equivalent in TOEFL, PTE, OET. Or /And Meet the Literacy, Language, Numeracy (LLN) test organised by AICT college*

Academic – At least Year 12 Equivalent to Australian standards or/and Certificate level qualification from Australia or/and Life experiences and background of relevant work (to be supported by resume and interview and referrals)
